Dine deep Saturday 25th Nov 17,I was so looking forward to this event. BUT..So disappointed the food was cold, the wine was just awful, no service, the young staff didn't even smile, we sat down & was asked to move down twice, so Couldn't talk with my friends. So much for a birthday dinner with friends..

We brought our teenage kids here to see the underground wine cellars (they call them "drives" here from the gold mining days) and they loved the whole experience and said our tour guide Dan was great! Also on the tour were a young couple of "Glampers" who had spent the night in a luxury tent on the grounds by the old homestead and said they had really enjoyed it. We had an excellent tasting afterwards and took home 3 dozen bottles for the home cellar (glorified wine rack)!

Fabulous light hearted tour of this historic wine maker by a fellow named Dan. The 100+ year old underground tunnels are amazing to see including a room where dignitaries would dine and Australian Prime Ministers each had a private stash of alcohol. The tour finished with tastings of some wonderful wines. Beautiful gardens. Highly recommended.

No wouldn't recommend the place for the food or wine. Alan was lovely & the table looked amazing. But that's it..

Stopped off here on our way to the Grampians and so glad we did! Alan was very knowledgable and friendly and we purchased 6 bottles of wine for a great price.
